RSG was founded in 1961 at Riches Street Garage (RSG) Limited where it serviced cars and sold petrol from a traditional garage forecourt.
Due to its growing success over the years, the Company evolved and came to incorporate equipment for the water authorities and a wider range of equipment for the emergency services. In September 2020 the Company was bought by Swedish owned Argynniss AB as a result RSG became part of the Standby Group and is now known as Standby RSG UK Limited.
