Job Vacancy – Product Specialist & Project Manager (North)
Standby UK is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our technical team as a Product Specialist & Project Manager (North). This hybrid role combines on-site work at our UK Head Office in Cannock, field visits, and home-based working, offering a permanent, full-time position for a technically skilled and customer-focused professional.
The successful candidate will provide expert technical support and product specialism to customers across the North of the UK. Responsibilities include guiding installation, configuration, and training on our full product range, including emergency lighting, MCS-NX switching and power management systems, camera/DVR solutions, OEM screen integration, and telematics.
A key focus of this role is supporting Standby UK’s development of fully customised, plug & play vehicle solutions. This includes designing and delivering complete vehicle wiring harnesses and equipment boards tailored to each client, enhancing the customer experience and cementing Standby UK as a leading authority in fleet technical solutions.
Applicants should have extensive experience in the design, specification, and installation of 12V solutions for specialist vehicle fleets, strong technical proficiency in CAD and configuration software, and the ability to document and communicate technical processes clearly. Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK are essential.
