31-Mile May Challenge for BowelBabe Fund
Standby UK is proud to support General Production Operative Darren Challinor as he takes on the Bowelbabe Fund Jog 31 Miles Challenge this May, raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
The challenge encourages participants to jog a total of 31 miles across the month of May (whether that’s a mile a day or a few longer runs) while fundraising to support life-saving bowel cancer research and raise awareness of the disease.

Darren has committed to completing the full distance throughout the month, joining thousands of others across the UK in supporting the Bowelbabe Fund, created to continue the legacy of Dame Deborah James and help fund cutting-edge research into cancer detection and treatment.
Funds raised through the challenge contribute to groundbreaking work, including improving early detection of bowel cancer, understanding rising cases in younger people, and developing more effective treatments.
Standby UK is proud of Darren’s commitment and encourages colleagues, clients, and the wider community to support him on his journey here.
