Charity Karting for the Stan Bowley Trust

On March 2nd, Standby UK’s very own Stuart and Luca, alongside the ‘Tism Karting’ team, hit the track at Midland Karting for a high-speed charity event in support of The Stan Bowley Trust. Competing in two 3-hour endurance races, the team showcased incredible skill and determination, securing podium finishes in both races. In the first race, the team finished 3rd place overall and the second race saw them achieving an incredible 2nd place, both out of a total of 13 teams.
The event was a thrilling success, raising an impressive £2,222.94 to support the Staffordshire-based Stan Bowley Trust.
The Trust is committed to raising awareness and funds for CyberKnife, an advanced, non-invasive cancer treatment offering high-precision radiotherapy. By funding initiatives and events like the charity karting day, they help make this life-saving technology more accessible to those who need it most.
Beyond karting, the charity hosts various fundraising activities, including a Bungee jump and Golf Day, ensuring ongoing support for their vital cause.
It was a fantastic day of competitive racing, teamwork, and community spirit, with drivers pushing their limits for a great cause. A huge well done to Stuart, Luca, and the young talents of ‘Tism Karting’ for their hard work!
