We’re thrilled to announce that two of our dedicated team members, Production & Purchasing Manager Michelle Thelwell and Key Account Manager Beth Crawshaw, are stepping out of the office and into the wilderness for a great cause!
The Challenge
Both Michelle and Beth will be taking part in the 2025 Royal British Legion (RBL) Survival Challenge, to learn the basics of wild camping whilst raising vital funds for the Royal British Legion.
The RBL Survival Challenge is a demanding 5-day adventure which takes place in Moreton, Dorset from September 13th – 17th 2025 where participants will learn the skills needed to survive off-grid from military survival experts.
The funds raised from this challenge will go directly towards supporting the Royal British Legion’s important work supporting serving and ex-serving military personnel.
Michelle and Beth need your support!
As they prepare for this exciting yet challenging adventure, they are calling on the generosity of colleagues and customers to help them reach (and maybe even exceed) their fundraising target of £1600. Every donation will make a real difference in the lives of those who have served and continue to serve our country.
Stay tuned for updates on their journey as they take on this remarkable challenge. We’re incredibly proud of Michelle and Beth for their commitment to both this cause and the spirit of teamwork and perseverance that defines Standby UK.
