About the Range

Flexible build‑level support

Choose from multiple NX variants ranging from compact, streamlined options to full‑capacity systems with advanced audio, lighting, and power management capabilities.

Unified hardware and software backbone

Benefit from one central platform equipped with intuitive drag‑and‑drop configuration tools, powerful CAN‑FD connectivity, and seamless integration with existing MCS control panels or OEM touchscreens.

Efficiency in installation and servicing

With reduced loom length, simplified diagnostics, plug‑and‑play modules, and lighter system weight, MCS‑NX speeds deployment and cuts maintenance time.

Purpose‑driven capabilities

Emergency‑ready features like dual‑channel sirens, sync & breathe lighting modes, prioritised outputs, and enhanced audio control are available alongside simplified commercial configurations optimised for lower‑demand operations.

MCS-NX vs MCS-NXE

MCS-NX – Emergency Sector

The Next Generation MCS NX range has been designed for vehicles fitted with a high-level of non-OEM additional electrical features that would typically be installed on Emergency Service vehicles. Features such as Emergency Service siren amplifier are included on most products.

MCS-NXE (Enterprise) – Commercial Sector

The MCS-NXE (Enterprise) range of control systems has been designed primarily for use on Commercial application fleet vehicles equipped with a lower-level of non-OEM additional electrical features installed.

This means that unnecessary capabilities such as an Emergency Service Siren Amplifier are excluded on NXE models along with circuits that are not usually required on Commercial vehicle builds. Low power outputs are negative only whereas the MCS-NX can switch positive or negative with its Low power output. The MCS-NXE has the same core hardware, utilises the same MCS-NX-CONFIG software and the same CANlib.

Product Advantages

  • Improved connectivity
  • All new configuration software
  • Easier diagnostic and fault finding
  • Reduced need for additional units
  • Medium power outputs current limit increased to 8A
  • Low power output current limit increased to 2.4A
  • Greater scope during installation for product control allowing for increased load shedding capability
  • Flash pattern selectable for group flashing
  • Multifunction outputs priority based
  • Fully compatible with existing MCS handsets/switch units
  • Familiarity for user interface
  • 3 x CAN reading ports defined by user (not preset)
  • CAN-2.0 (MCS) upgraded to CAN-FD (MCS-NX), allowing for larger data length along with faster BIT rate
  • Vehicle CAN integration widened to pick up second CAN line if required
  • Built-in low frequency capability
  • Full volume control for workshop/city mode
  • Dual voltage – 12v and 24v operation
