The Oculux® camera is supplied with a high performance nylon polyamide (Eplamid) shell that offers exceptional strength and resilience in all conditions.

Material Composition & Properties
The Oculux camera is engineered with a precision-molded shell made from Eplamid, a high-performance nylon polyamide chosen for its exceptional durability and reliability.
Damage & Wear Resistant
Eplamid resists corrosion and harsh chemicals, making it ideal for use in automotive and industrial environments. It also offers excellent durability under mechanical stress and impact, with strong wear resistance suited for rugged use.
Thermal Stability
Eplamid maintains performance in extreme temperatures, including as low as -40ºC, with a high melting point and thermal insulation that protects internal components.
Lightweight Construction
Significantly lighter than aluminum, Eplamid helps reduce the overall weight of the camera for easier handling and installation.
Eco-Friendly Manufacturing
Eplamid supports sustainable production with minimal waste generation, and leftover material can be reused or recycled.

HyperLens technology ensures the highest possible lens performance via ant-abrasion and anti-reflective capabilities – even in the harshest conditions resulting in advanced picture quality with increased lens longevity.

LiveConfig technology allows every camera to be configured post-installation, even when the vehicle is out on the road.
Oculux® can self-diagnose by reporting issues or malfunctions over the air resulting in less vehicle downtime due to essential camera maintenance.
One Camera, Multiple Locations
By simply re-programming the camera and/or swapping the mounting brackets and fixings, the Oculux® camera can be used in all required vehicle CCTV scenarios, such as: forward facing, rear and side positioning.
This completely new and innovative approach results in quicker install and deployment, consistent footage quality, consistent build quality, better compatibility and less vehicle downtime during maintenance and/or replacement.

Ultralux Low Light Technology
The Oculux® camera utilises UltraLux technology which uses new semiconductor fabrication techniques to substantially increase the number of photons captured, resulting in the best low light footage in todays vehicle CCTV market.
