The MCS-F5D Slimline Switch Unit 10-Way Slimline Switch Unit was specifically developed to fit above the radio DIN aperture in a Vauxhall Astra beat car.

This switch unit consists of 10 buttons (8 small and 2 large) with appropriate legend and key colour.

As this switch unit is designed primarily for permanent mounting within a dashboard, public address would be implemented via a separate hand held microphone with integral PTT switch.

Designed to be a permanently mounted switch panel, the reverse of the MCS-F5D Slimline Switch Unit has two M4 threaded inserts to facilitate the use of a mounting bracket (not supplied) or fix directly to the surface.

Each button can be independently configured in terms of operation, legend designation and even back light colour, therefore it is the ideal interface for controlling a variety of vehicle based hazard warning systems including the MCS range of control systems.

Though adjacent buttons can be combined for dual functions and extra visual impact it is not recommended for the MCS-F5D
