MCS-NX Range Full Control Technology

  • Full Control – Fully Configurable & Programmable Power Management and Control System can be managed independently by the vehicle converter and by Service workshop technical staff.
  • Intuitive Operation – An intuitive User Interface enables pre-built basic functions and specialised module library selection to create a logical flow of operation for the end users.
  • OEM Infotainment Screen – Designed to work with vehicle OEM infotainment touch screens for ease of user operation (vehicle manufacturer dependant).
  • Built-in Crew Intercom System – The MCS NX with Audio model, provides a clear integrated intercom system (29mm longer unit) with clear communication between the vehicle driver and separate saloon areas with the ability for priority-based audio announcements. Suitable for vehicles with a fixed bulkhead between the driver and rear saloon compartments.
  • Plug & Play Technology – The MCS NX range of products are designed to include all electronic systems within one unit enabling workshop staff to quickly disconnect and replace it with another preprogrammed unit held on-site reducing vehicle downtime to a minimum.
  • Diagnostics
    • Workshop diagnostics displays can be easily viewed within the driver cab area in conjunction with the following hybrid button and LCD display switch panels: MCS-T24, MCS-T70, MCS-GT2, MCS-GT6 and MSC-TSC as well as the possibility for remote diagnostics via telematics (supplier dependant) allowing unified fleet diagnostics logic whilst reducing operational costs and increasing vehicle serviceability ratios.
    • Crews can easily complete visual /audible checks of lighting and siren systems including external audible announcements via the siren speaker
  • Construction – Lightweight design supporting environmental weight reduction initiatives.
  • Siren Systems – Built in dual-channel 200W digital siren amplifier (variant specific) with an option of the high impact Rumbler Speaker.

NX Range Sync & Breathe Technology

  • Sync – Synchronise emergency responder rapid lighting patterns of multiple (Police / Fire / Ambulance / Amber) on-scene vehicles to create on-scene visual order (lighting product dependant – further information available upon request).
  • Breathe – Switch from multiple responder high intensity flash patterns to create an on-scene visual calming effect using a single, calmer flash pattern with (lighting product dependant – further information available upon request).
  • Added Safety – When Sync & Breathe is used in conjunction with other MCS NX units and light bar equipped Emergency Service vehicles, this technology can reduce on scene visual lighting stress and distraction for Emergency Service staff, patients, and other road users.
