Peugeot Boxer Highways Vehicle – Frontline Emergency Solutions
Frontline Emergency Solutions recently completed a comprehensive highways lighting installation on a Peugeot Boxer for a major national contractor. As seasonal low-light conditions approach, the team focused on creating a package that delivers exceptional visibility, clear worker protection, and reliable all-round scene lighting.
The build incorporates a full Standby UK amber system, integrating the Raiden Lightbar, two-in-one SceneMax Combo LEDs, low profile Pop’n’Lock LED Modules, and slim Edge Dagger LED Modules – working together to create a cohesive, high-performance safety solution.
The Raiden lightbar acts as the primary warning system for this build, offering a striking presence on the road with its powerful amber output. Designed for demanding fleet environments, the Raiden delivers exceptional brightness and clarity while maintaining low power consumption and robust durability.
Its aerodynamic design and broad optical spread make it perfectly suited to highways vehicles, ensuring visibility from long distances and across multi-lane scenarios. The lightbar forms the backbone of the vehicle’s signalling system, providing unmistakable awareness to approaching traffic.
The SceneMax modules offer a dual-function capability that is particularly valuable for contractors working during darker months. Combining scene lighting and warning illumination in one housing, these modules deliver both functional task lighting and highly effective hazard communication.
For the Peugeot Boxer, they form part of the perimeter illumination strategy – helping crews work with confidence when carrying out roadside tasks, inspections, or equipment handling. Their consistent, wide-angle flood output ensures that work areas remain visible, safe, and clearly marked.
The rear of the Peugeot Boxer is equipped with two SL209 curved-scene lamps positioned above the rear access doors. These lamps deliver broad, uniform flood-style illumination – ideal for safely lighting the rear working area when crews are loading, unloading or accessing equipment in low-light conditions.
The placement of the SL209s allows the flood lights to cover a wide footprint, minimising shadows and ensuring the entire loading zone is well-lit. This is particularly valuable during nighttime operations, breakdowns, or when the vehicle is parked on a roadside with minimal ambient light.
Frontline has utilised the trusted Pop’n’Lock series as part of the warning configuration. Known for their compact footprint and versatile installation, these modules provide sharp, high-intensity amber warning signals that stand out across busy road networks.
The Pop’n’Lock units are ideal for supplementary signalling around the vehicle’s rear and flanks, providing additional layers of visibility where passing traffic is closest to the work zone.
For this build, the Edge Dagger modules were integrated directly into the front grille, creating a highly effective forward-facing warning presence. Their compact six-way LED design produces a sharp, concentrated signal that captures attention at distance.
The Edge Daggers work in harmony with the Raiden lightbar and other auxiliary modules to enhance the Boxer’s on-approach recognition and roadside presense, supporting safer motorways.
This Peugeot Boxer highways vehicle now carries a unified lighting system that enables crews to work more safely and efficiently, especially during low-visibility operations. The combination of warning and scene lighting ensures both the vehicle’s presence and the crew’s working area remain clear and secure.
Frontline Emergency Solutions’ installation demonstrates how a carefully curated Standby UK lighting package can elevate a highways vehicle into a dependable, high-impact safety asset for national contractor fleets.
