About the product

The MCS-F5T Slimline Switch Unit 15-Way Slimline Switch Unit was specifically developed to sit horizontally across the vehicle dash board.

Our F5T Slimline switch unit consists of 15 buttons (13 small and 2 large) with appropriate legend and key colour.

As this switch unit is designed primarily for permanent mounting within a dashboard, public address would be implemented via the separate hand held microphone with integral PTT switch.

Designed to be a permanently mounted switch panel, the reverse of the MCS-F5T Slimline Switch Unit has two M4 threaded inserts to facilitate the use of a mounting bracket (not supplied) or fix directly to the surface.

5-Way MCS-F5 also available with 5 buttons (5 small or 4 small and one large).

10-Way MCS-F5D also available with 10 buttons (8 small and 2 large).

Benefits

Each button can be independently configured in terms of operation, legend designation and even back light colour, therefore it is the ideal interface for controlling a variety of vehicle based hazard warning systems including the MCS range of control systems.

3 stage back illumination – low brightness when OFF, high brightness when ON and both levels dimmed at night
Button colours are defined by the LED back light, therefore they have no colour when the switch unit is ‘Off’
All configurations compatible with MCS-32, MCS-16 and MCS-8
Though adjacent buttons can be combined for dual functions and extra visual impact it is not recommended for the MCS-F5T
