W3 Aero is based on W3 Lightbar with all its advantages and features. Without changing the bars dimensions, mechanical design and functionality we have developed a lightbar that is approved for use on both the airports and on public roads, all packed in a single product.
W3 Aero meets
- The international standard for use at airports, ICAO Annex 14
- The Swedish requirement for use at airports, TSFS 2012:90
- EU requirement for use on public roads, ECE R65 ( Blue Class 2, Amber Class 1)
- EMC requirement for electronics, according to 72/245 EEC
ICAO Annex 14 means that the specific light requirements for brightness and light angles and flash pattern must be met in order to be used at airports, which our W3 Aero Lightbar meet.
W3 Aero is a lightbar with minimal air resistance, maximum light performance, and robust electronics. All materials are carefully selected to resist the tough Nordic climate and also to handle the environmentally friendly cleaning and degreasing agents that are frequently used today. The construction is very rigid with high grade aluminum in the chassis as well as die-cast aluminum LED modules with extra durable polycarbonate. W3 Aero is built in modules making it very flexible and easy to service when necessary.
