W5 – The lightbar with exceptional flexibility and high performance

The W5 lightbar is engineered to deliver powerful illumination, long service life, and outstanding flexibility. Built around customer needs, it features a modular design that allows light colors, functions, and module placement to be tailored to any vehicle and application.

Flexible design for every need
Each W5 is configured by our production team according to customer specifications. Its modular architecture offers maximum flexibility, enabling you to choose color and function per module. Modules can be freely positioned within the lightbar and configured for full warning capability or directional forward or rear-facing functions.

Interior modules are available in single- or dual-color designs in blue, amber, white, green, red, and IR light. Corner modules integrate multiple functions with two primary colors, one signal color, and a powerful work light—resulting in a solution perfectly adapted to the vehicle and its operational requirements.

Performance and visibility
The W5 delivers exceptionally high light output for optimal visibility and safety. It provides powerful illumination around the entire vehicle and meets all requirements for 360-degree warning lights. An integrated day/night sensor automatically adjusts brightness to the appropriate level under all conditions.

Side work lights
Corner modules are equipped with powerful 2,500-lumen side lights, effectively illuminating the work area around the vehicle and reducing the need for external work lights.

Functions and control
The W5 offers a wide range of features, including warning lights, work lights, traffic advisor functions, ICAO mode, reverse lights, indicators, brake lights, and position lights. It also supports advanced functions such as police stop maneuvers, rotating light patterns, cruise functions, and automatic or manual day/night modes.

The lightbar is controlled via CAN bus, enabling advanced functionality while minimizing cabling. Our control systems communicate directly with the lightbar, and with the Breakout Box, it can also be connected using traditional signals.

Tested for demanding environments
Tested to MIL-STD-461F, the W5 withstands electromagnetic interference as well as harsh conditions such as vibration, cold, heat, and moisture.

Durable construction
Developed and manufactured in Sweden for Nordic conditions, the W5 features a robust aluminum construction for high strength and long service life. Coated lenses protect against scratches and UV exposure, ensuring consistent light performance over time. Its wind tunnel–tested aerodynamic design reduces wind noise and minimizes impact on fuel consumption.
